Cielo is a fantastic singer. I was able to find out about her through the grapevine. (: And boy, am I glad I did. Cielo is the type of person to do her best to keep happy and content as much as possible. Growing up, she was surrounded by much singing and dancing. And throughout the years, has learned to embrace the culture. At an early age, she began listening to the music and watching music videos of the various popular artists of those days. She would lip-sync and copy the way her idols would sing. All this, while still learning to talk. Quite a feat, wouldn't you agree? Then, when she was 4 years old, she began performing for people at all sort of events and special occassions, such as: parties, school and church events, etc. Eventually, she decided to join her church's choir. And sixteen years later, has been singing ever since, and loving every moment of it. ^_^ Let me give you a little taste of what this phenom can actually do. This is her cover of Killing Me Softly by Lauren Hill (originally done by The Fugees). Hope you all like it!!

Not gonna lie, one of the CLEANEST covers of this song. Lauren Hill is no joke, and Cielo definitely did her justice. If I had to give any kind of constructive criticism, it would probably have to be that she would need to smooth out her rifts and runs. But other than that, it was REALLY good. Cielo would be, what you would call, a "Seasoned Performer". I've already mentioned a few of where she's performed at, but here are a few more. She has graced the stage at her school, performing at the productions they would have, as well as performing at small concerts in her local area of Stockton. Other than singing and performing, Cielo has a thing for computers and video games. Talented AND a tech-savv. Who would've thunk, right. Lol! And, if that wasn't enough to satisfy your inquisitive minds, she is also interested in the Korean culture and music scene. Which I am not TOO surprised by, as I too am a big fan of the korean lifestyle and entertainment. (; Alright, alright... enough talking. Let's take another listen to one of her beautiful covers. This time, it's from an artist who's singing style is completely different from that of Miss Lauren Hill. It is her cover of On My Own by the amazing Ms. Lea Salonga.

Another brilliant cover! When I listen to her, she has this certain sincerity in her voice that let's the audience feel the songs meaning. Not too many people can say that they have that, but with Cielo, it's definitely there. I think a reason to this is because she had told me that she wants to spread the love of singing and music to everyone. She believes that singing is a form of expression that a person could use to show people who you really are, and to let your emotions out. And I completely agree with her. You see, I feel that most people are afraid, or just not confident enough to sing at all, and that really shouldn't be the case. Singing is a beautiful thing, and should be something anyone and everyone should be able to do with confidence.

Rounding this post up, Cielo's future plans with singing is to one day find herself performing in a big musical production number or to be singing on television. And to help her reach this dream, she puts her complete faith and trust in God. She also gathers the strength and courage to push forward, and continue to pursue her dream, with the love and support her family and friends constantly give her, through thick and thin.
