If you live in Torrance and have been to the mall there and happen to walk into their Abercrombie&Fitch, you MAY have seen this guy. Tall, dark, handsome, AND he can sing. Talk about "Trifecta PLUS 1". Jason began singing at a very young age. He doesn't exactly remember WHEN he started getting into singing, all he remembers is listening to his dad sing (who, by the way, is a great singer I'm told) and play classics like Frank Sinatra, and copying that style of singing. He pretty much grew up with this genre of music. However, as much as I appreciate Frank Sinatra's music, I'm glad Jason's talent doesn't just stay within those boundaries. Here, take a listen for yourself. This is his cover of Cee Lo's "F*ck You", but done the Glee version way. (: Enjoy!!

I really like this cover of his. He has what some call, 'Vocal Charisma'. He has a charming presence when he sings. And although he has a certain demure about his talent, there's no questioning how good he is. Jason's joined plenty of talent competitions. A few of which you may have already heard of, such as: American Idol, Starstruck (Philippines competition), Glee, and America's Got Talent. And although he wasn't all that successful at them (which I'm STILL confused about, by the way), this hasn't deterred him from continuing his passion in singing. And speaking from experience myself, competitions like those are not easy to get through, and they don't always look for genuine talent. >_< Sometimes, they look for people who have "dramatic" stories to boost ratings. Lame.. I KNOW. -__-

Anyways, continuing on about Jason. I had asked him to describe himself, and he said that he's an outgoing type of guy who loves to surf, so you'll always find him at the beach. And for that reason, he's always looking forward for summer to come around. He also loves to go on adventures, so going on long hikes with his dog is a must for him. Location for these hikes? The Palos Verdes Cliffs by the ocean. Likewise, when I had asked him how his friends would describe him, he said (modestly) that they HOPEFULLY would describe him as being kind, goofy, full of energy, and always down to have fun. (; And even though I don't know him personally, that doesn't seem to be too far the truth. Alright guys, let's take a quick break and listen to another one of his brilliant covers. WOW! I don't even know what to say. X] Versatility is definitely key in this business, and he has it. I really hope you guys are able to vibe with his voice. I personally feel his talent has gone overlooked and deserves so much attention. If you do like him, you should show him support and subscribe to his youtube channel HERE. (: So, before I come to the conclusion of this post, there are still a few things that I would like to say about Mr. Jason Farol. (:

This guy does what he does because of the inspiration he gets from other talented artists. Seeing them pursue THEIR dreams, and succeed, or even NOT succeed, pushes him to try even harder and do even better than his last performance. Perseverance, dedication, determination, and maybe even a little sacrifice are the characteristics that lay within the hearts of all aspiring and talented artists. Jason is no different. So, although this dog loving, hamburger devouring, spider hating guy is going through the simple motions of daily living, his ultimate goal IS to sing for the rest of his life. Be it on a stage in front of thousands, or at home in front of family and friends. *whispers* ....But between you and me, I'm really hoping its on a stage in front of thousands. (;
