If talent is all you're looking for in an artist, then this young lady takes the cake. She has one of the most powerful voices I've EVER heard on a 12-year old since Charice, herself. She is like a massive wall of sound when she sings! Lol. I still can't believe how mature and well developed her voice is at such a young age. When Angel became aware of her talent, performing in front of crowds was essential. Whether it was in a competition, a festival, or just a party of some sort, this girl will sing regardless of the occasion. Singing has definitely become her passion. She began joining singing competitions four years ago, which means she was only eight years old. That is CRAZY! She informed me that she had joined a prestigious competition there in the Philippines called - Birit Baby - on the t.v. network, GMA7, back in 2009. I saw a few episodes on Youtube and was amazed time and time again. But what shocks me the most, is the fact that, just like charice, she didn't win?! Granted she got first-runner up, but really? To me, that was the understatement of the freakin' YEAR!! With that being said, let me show you why I would make such a claim, and YOU tell me if I am crazy for doing so. Here she is, covering Come On In Out of The Rain by Sheryn Regis, and All By Myself by Celine Dion. **NOTICE! I am giving you guys two videos because they are not complete covers, they are just short one minute clips that she made. She had focused more on her upper register, and let me tell you now,  IT IS INCREDIBLE! (:

Can I just say... MIND BLOWN! What the freak, right?! How does a sound like THAT come out of such a young girl?! I'm telling you, there is something in the water in the Philippines that mutates their vocal chords, or something. Lol! Jk. ^_^ But still, I'm truly in awe with her voice. She literally rivals some of the greatest singers ever! But, let us take a quick break from all the music and singing, and get to know our little Diva in the making. (:

Angel is such a kind hearted person, she is very sweet and loving towards others. And even though she has a very mature voice, she is still very young at heart. And because of this, she also likes to have fun. Her friends find her to be funny, down-to-earth, and doesn't think too highly of herself. Which is definitely a PLUS in my book, because to be able to be absolutely humble about yourself, even when everyone knows that you are incredibly talented, shows a lot of good character. So Angel, try to keep your feet grounded at all times, you're still very young, and the music industry can be a scary place. So keep close to those who care about you. ...Whoa! Sorry guys, I got into Oprah-mode for a moment. Haha! Anyways, aside from singing, she loves to dance. Which seems to be the trend with singers nowadays, they always seem to be good dancers. Lol! And off of that, lets get right back into her singing. ^_^

Angel has been in talks with a certain European music producer who has made an offer with her. But Angel told me that that is still in the works, and being sorted out. On a side note, doesn't this kind of sound very reminiscent of Charice with the offer she got from Sweden? Just a thought. (: Also, our little phenom is planning to perform at Italy's Verdinote International Festival. I did some research about this, and it's actually a pretty big thing held annually. So GOOD LUCK Angel! Hope all this works out for you. And finally, Angel is currently in another very prestigious competition in the Philippines, known as - Talentadong Pinoy - on TV5. She has returned three times to perform, twice for their wild card rounds. I'm not too sure if this competition has already ended, but more power to you, Angel! I'm rooting for you to win!!! I REALLY hope you do. X] And with that last hoorah I just did, here is a video of her performing at Storyland in a contest. She is singing the song I Am Changing by Jennifer Hudson/Jennifer Holiday. Watch out Jennifer Hudson! Haha! She has so much control over that POWERHOUSE vocals of hers! The only thing that can explain this is that it is definitely, and undoubtedly, a God given talent. Hands down, one of the brightest stars YET to shine! I'm hoping with all my might that she gets the recognition that Charice is getting. She really deserves it. I mean come on now, with that voice alone, she has.. IT. What else could you be looking for? (; And finally, I just have a few more things to say before I end this post. For angel, she continues to be inspired by her family. They give her the confidence to keep going, and the comfort to know that she has people behind her the whole way through. The greatest thing a singer can receive and give is inspiration. So Angel, continue to inspire people with your voice, and continue to seek out more of what can inspire you. And before you know it, you'll be performing in front of thousands at your own concert.
