Ms. Andrea... wow. Where do I begin? Lol. Okay, so growing up, Andrea has always been fond of watching cooking shows, and found that she was happiest in the kitchen. Being able to put a smile on someone's face, by way of cooking for them, was the BEST feeling she could get. Helping her mom in the kitchen, cooking or baking, really helped Andrea hone in on her skills and passion for it. The youngest age that she could recall actually baking on her own was 8 or 9 years old. Now THAT is determination for you.
At this moment, Andrea has not joined or competed in a contest that highlights baking. She chooses not to because, for her, she doesn't feel the need to compete in that manner and would rather build a positive and personal repertoire with her customers. ^_^ And I completely agree, and respect her decision. Although in the case of entering contests, you can certainly showcase to those in attendance what you have to offer, I think being able to humble yourself in the sense that you would rather win over clientele by their satisfaction and not by means of being showy in a contest is very commendable. So, more power to you, Andrea!
Also, for now, Andrea has decided to open a "home-based" bakery business that does orders and deliveries. This is to allow her to also focus on her studies at the same time. But, without a doubt, Andrea is in the process of SOON opening her own bakery shop called - "It's-So" Sweets Bakery and Cafe. By incorporating the "cafe" into it, she will be able to showcase her love for cooking as well.
In her own words, Andrea is very ambitious. She also said something that may very well be my favorite outlook on certain life situations. Her statement was that she is MOTIVATED by HATE, and INSPIRED by LOVE. To be honest, I could not have said it any better. Living life is all about the movement of your flow. Why allow someone's negative feelings towards you create friction in your flow and slow you down. Take it in, and turn it into the momentum that even they could not have fathomed. Because in that sense, they'll be left behind in all that negativity, and you will have moved on beyond their reach, better and stronger than ever.
Other than her own personal interpretation and perception of who she is, I had also asked how her friends would describe her. Andrea has kindly gathered a few responses from her friends and has asked me to choose one, but I think it would be best if I just showed you all of their descriptions of her, in order to relay unto you guys the absolute truth. As you can see, consistency is key to knowing the truth of anything. And these testimonials don't lie. Andrea, simply put, is an amazing individual.
Andrea is the type of person that strongly dislikes being a disappointment. So she tries her best in all that she does. And in order for her to keep focused on the tasks at hand, and making sure there is no room for any kind of mistakes, she seeks the love and compassion of her family. They inspire her, they are her first taste testers, and their opinions matter the most to her. And from that, stems her pure determination to relieve them of their "struggles" in life, due to the economic difficulties that we all currently face. And most importantly, she gathers the strength and inspiration from the Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ to pursue her dreams. Without their help and guidance, she wouldn't be able to do anything.
