MAJOR UPDATE!!!

It truly has been a long time since my last post, and I apologize. BUT I HAVE AMAZINGLY AWESOME NEWS FOR ALL OF YOU!!!! Within the recent months that have passed, many of the artists that I have featured have been making great strides in their respective fields of aspiration. AND I'M LITERALLY EXPLODING WITH EXCITEMENT!! Here is a run through of the artists that have been doing it BIG lately:

1. Jason Farol -

He was one of the very first artists whom I have featured in my blog, back in February 7, 2011. I just KNEW he was going to be something someday. He recently auditioned for the show 'Duets', and was chosen by Kelly Clarkson to be on her team for the show! Theres really nothing more I can say about it other than, music/singing + Jason Farol = MEANT TO BE. Here are the clips of his initial audition and his first performance on the show. *WARNING! MAY CAUSE TEARY EYES.*

2. Ashley Rivera (Petra Mahalimuyak) -

Oh my gosh... THIS GIRL is just too much for the world. She is literally taking it by storm. It was just a year ago back in May of 2011, when I had stumbled upon her youtube videos and fell in love with her comedic antics. I instantly had that feeling where you just KNOW you have to feature someone (if you're a blogger like myself). She had so much charisma, she was beautiful, FUNNY, and surprisingly down to Earth. There was absolutely no way I was passing up the chance to put her in my blog. ^_^ And now... SHE IS HOSTING A REALITY SINGING TV COMPETITION IN THE PHILIPPINES called 'Kanta Pilipinas' on TV5!!! Tell me that's nothing to be proud of! I will fight you. X] Here is a video of where all the magic happens and where her road to super stardom begins.

3. Andrea Pacheco (It's So Sweets) - 

First and foremost, I MUST inform you of this amazing lady. She is probably one of the most successful self-made bakers I have ever come across. I featured this very talented individual back in May 31, 2011. And since then, her own brand of bakery yumminess has boomed into something amazing. She gets all kinds of personal orders from private clients, to catering the goods of special events, to even providing delicious treats for certain product launches that happen in department stores, such as Dillard's. I am very very excited to show you her stuff that she has done recently. Trust me, you'll need a napkin. (;

4. Arnel Ordonio (Kuya Longboards) - 

Just a little refresher, if you don't quite remember his story, I suggest you revisit it. Lol! But seriously, this guy has come a long way with his own brand of longboards. Having started from humble beginnings, he has now been able to create his own riding "Team". His boards are expertly crafted, and creatively designed with its own unique factor to separate it from the rest. His brand of boards had a feature stand at the Animecon in his area that caused quite a buzz. Here are some updated photos of the past event, as well as some photos of his "Team" of riders. 

And last, but certainly not least...

5. Nick Len -

So, before I decided to go all "hiatus" on everyone, Nick was my very last featured artist (but I promise there WILL BE MORE! So stay tuned, yeah?). He showed great promise, and I knew he was something special. He has the voice, the looks, the charm, the personality, I mean come on, how could anyone doubt this guy?! So, from the realm of Youtube, he took it to the next level, and auditioned for the show 'The Voice' in Australia. He made it far into the competition, all the way to the battle rounds. And lets be real, only a select few ever make it that far. And although his road was cut short, theres no doubt in my mind that he will  go even further. Here is the video of the 'Battle Round' that he was in. (UNFORTUNATELY only those in Australia can watch his 'Blind Audition' video on Youtube, you lucky ducks!)

Post Script! I think it's funny how people compared the two of them, Nick and Lakyn, to Edward Cullen and Jacob Black from the Twilight series. Hahaha! :D

From the bottom of my heart, I am absolutely in complete awe in how far all of them have come. I, myself, appreciate the beauty that is talent. We are all gifted in our own way, and I believe so much in the saying, "There is a star in everyone." And truth be told, I am a very picky blogger. I don't just blog about anyone. When I came across each and every one of my artists, I knew that there was more to them than just videos on youtube, pictures of desserts, drawings on paper, clothing designs, etc. I know a star when I see one. I had so much faith in them back then, and I still do now. If I could say one thing to these amazing people who have allowed me to get to know them and feature them in my blog, it would be for them to never stop, keep dreaming, and dream BIG. I know I will. Who knows, maybe next time, you'll even see me on tv doing something great like they have. (: 

OH YEAH! And by the way, with the combined successes of the artists in my blog, there has been an increase in the flow of traffic in my blog (THANKS GUYS!), and thus, Google has sent me a letter regarding a PARTNERSHIP!! So, to all my artists, THANK YOU! And most especially to all of you who come to my blog and read my stuff. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I LOVE YOU! And remember, NEVER LET GO OF YOUR DREAMS!
